There will also be a custom banner with both sets of winners featured on it that will live in Aqua Bowling Accessories Pro Shop until we crown another champion!

The 1st Annual Lake Erie Showdown is officially sanctioned by The Sport of Bowling – USBC and partnered with Aqua Bowling Accessories and we're gearing up for one of the biggest doubles events in Northeast Ohio.

🎳 Bowl: 12:00 PM
💰 Entry Fee: $80 per bowler ($160 per team)
📊 Handicap: 80% of 220

Tournament Format
Teams will bowl 3 games of traditional doubles for qualifying, with the Top 32 teams advancing into the championship bracket.
🔥 Built for BOTH Handicap & Scratch Bowlers
We wanted this event to reward everyone—not just one side of the game. Following qualifying (during the lane re-oil), the Top 6 Scratch Teams will compete in a one-game scratch match to determine the final Scratch Championship standings. Those champions will get the first ever BTA Lake Erie Showdown Championship RINGS!
Your scratch finish will be based on:

✅ 1 Scratch Match Play Game
No extra buy-in. No additional entry fee. Every team automatically has the opportunity to cash in both the Scratch Division and the Handicap Tournament.
Match Play
Once the lanes are re-oiled, the Top 32 Handicap Teams will battle it out in bracket play. Best of 2 total pinfall BAKER games (with handicap) each round. Championship Match: Best-of-3 Baker Games.
