Avon Lake Women's Chorus

Avon Lake Women's Chorus Established 1948. Over 75 years of Continuous Choral Harmony and long-lasting friendships! No audition is required!

The Avon Lake Women’s Chorus is a non-profit organization that welcomes women of all ages and all communities (not limited to Avon Lake residents). We prepare winter and spring programs to entertain residents of independent/assisted living facilities and civic organizations/groups in Lorain and western Cuyahoga counties. Under the direction of a professional choral director and an accomplished pia

nist, our upbeat programs feature holiday music, show tunes, old favorites, pop melodies, traditional, whimsical, gospel and rock 'n' roll that get faces smiling and toes tapping! We rehearse on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30 at the Old Firehouse in Avon Lake, 100 Avon Belden Road, from September through May. The majority of our performances are during the day on weekdays. The winter performances are in late November-mid December, and the spring performances are in late April-mid May. Please contact us if you are interested in having our group perform at your facility or for your organization!

Friday 6/26 and Friday 7/10 from 10am to 11:30am at the Avon Lake Senior Center, 100 Avon Belden Rd at Lake Rd.

We’ll grab a few song from our files and, with the beautiful music from our talented pianist, Lisa, a good time will be had by all!

All are welcome to our “Friends and Family” concert, Sunday May 3rd.

Doors open at 2:30 and our production of Broadway songs begins at 3pm.

Light refreshments afterwards and a beautiful home-made spring quilt will be raffled off.
