We don’t skip Thanksgiving around here. We just decorate for it. 😂🎄

Every year, December seems to fill up before it even begins. Between shopping, school activities, family gatherings, and everything else, sometimes Christmas starts to feel like one big race to December 25th.

And we don’t really want that.

So we celebrate a little early at Wonder Village!

Not because we’re rushing Christmas, but because we want families to have more time to enjoy it.

More time for Christmas pajamas, music, decorating ornaments, and watching a Christmas tree light up with your little one. 🤍

And one less thing to squeeze into an already packed December calendar.

Join us Friday, November 6th, from 5:00–7:00 PM! We’ll light the tree at 6:30.

There’s something to be said for having a place that’s just part of your week. 🤍

Maybe you come every Tuesday after breakfast. Maybe you stop in for an hour before preschool pickup. Or maybe you wake up, look at the weather, and decide everybody needs to get out of the house. 😂

Your little one knows exactly where they want to go when they walk through the doors (and apparently has a car to fix 😂), and you don’t have to spend the morning figuring out how to keep everyone entertained.

Over time, you start recognizing other families. Your kids start recognizing each other. And what started as somewhere to take the kids becomes a familiar part of your week.

That’s what we love about our Wonder Village memberships.

Of course, unlimited Open Play is a pretty great perk. But we think the real value is having a place your family can keep coming back to, without having to think twice about it.

And if you’ve ever spent an entire morning trying to figure out what to do with a toddler, you know exactly how nice that sounds. 😂🤍

There’s meeting your favorite princess. And then there’s getting to spend a morning with her. 🌹 👑

Last year, we watched little girls walk into Charm School with Belle wearing their favorite princess dresses, some a little shy and others ready to tell Belle their entire life story. 😂

And then something pretty wonderful happened.

They weren’t just watching Belle from across the room or waiting in line for a picture.

They were learning with her, laughing with her, holding hands, and getting to be part of the story themselves.

That’s what we love about Charm School.

It’s the kind of experience that feels like pure magic to a little one, while giving them opportunities to practice confidence, kindness, and being part of a group.

And judging by these photos from last year, we’d say the magic was pretty real. 🥹🤍

It takes a village to make a little magic. 🤍🎃

And this weekend, we got to see exactly what that looks like.

Little ones proudly showing off their costumes, tiny hands reaching for treats, pumpkins being decorated, and grown-ups getting to enjoy a little Halloween magic right alongside them.

But what made Boo at the Village so special wasn’t just what happened inside those rooms.

It was the people who made it happen.

Local businesses who generously donated treats and pumpkins. Friends and family who gave up part of their Saturday to volunteer. People who said yes to being part of something simply because they wanted to do something kind for the families in their community.

And then there were all of you who showed up with your little ones and made the whole thing come to life.

We talk a lot about building a village, but weekends like this remind us that a village isn’t something one person or one business can build alone.

It’s what happens when people decide to show up for each other.

To every sponsor, volunteer, and family who helped make Boo at the Village what it was.. thank you.

You gave our little trick-or-treaters a whole lot more than treats.

You showed them what it looks like when a community comes together for its littlest people. 🤍

No two Wonder Village birthdays look quite the same. 🤍

Different themes. Different decorations. Different little personalities who have been counting down the days until it’s finally THEIR turn to be celebrated. 🥹

That’s one of our favorite things about hosting birthdays..

We provide the space, but it’s the families who bring it to life.

The birthday kid who can’t wait to show everyone around. The grandparents watching from the sidelines. The parents who actually get to sit down and visit with their guests while the kids play.

Those are the moments we love seeing.

A birthday party doesn’t have to be the biggest, fanciest production to be one they’ll remember.

Sometimes it’s simply a room full of their favorite people, celebrating the little person everyone came to see. 🤍

And we think that’s pretty special.

And not every step toward preschool readiness needs to happen in a traditional classroom.

Sometimes it looks like little hands exploring something new. Practicing patience. Building confidence. Figuring things out for themselves.

No pressure to perform. No rush to grow up.

Just intentional opportunities to learn, play, and become a little more independent along the way.

That’s what we believe early childhood should look like.

We’re not skipping Thanksgiving.. we’re just decorating for it. 😉🎄

December fills up fast. So on November 6, we’re making a little room for Christmas before the calendar gets crowded.

Come in holiday pajamas. Decorate a (super cute and sentimental) ornament to take home. Let your little one stop and play while you enjoy being there together. Then gather around our Village tree for the countdown and watch the lights come on. 🤍

You don’t have to miss it while you’re still in it. 🤍

The internet loves to remind parents that one day we’ll miss the little voices calling our name, the toys all over the house, the bedtime requests and the tiny people who need us for absolutely everything.

And we probably will.

But that doesn’t mean some of it isn’t really hard right now.

You can know these years are going fast and still be ready for bedtime.

You can love being their person and still desperately want nobody to need you for twenty minutes.

You can be grateful for this season and still have days you wouldn’t particularly like to relive. 😂

I think enjoying the little years was never supposed to mean enjoying every minute of them.

Perhaps we’ve confused knowing it won’t last forever with needing to love every second while it does.

You are allowed to miss this someday and still be tired of it today.

So give yourself some grace. Call your people. Let someone take something off your plate. And when you have a little extra to give, do the same for somebody else.

That’s what the village is for. 🤍
