So sad with this news! I just started on ZOLA and now wedding wire and the knot are going to destroy the good thing built for clients that actually works.

If you don't know that TheKnot & WeddingWire were sued over creating fake leads, defrauding vendors who paid to be listed on their website. Don't take my word for it. There are tons of articles, actual accounts from past employees about deceptive business practices and currently being sued by a firm representing small business vendors.
Being a vendor a few years ago I can personally attest to the fake leads. I would spend hundreds of dollars of my personal money to be in contact with what I thought were credible leads. In some cases sending multiple messages back and forth with details, guest counts, hours of booking, services needed, meeting set ups, only to be met with "We forgot about the appointment", Sorry we didn't have phone service on our trip", We were going to sign today but we are deciding to go in a different direction".
If you have listings on these sites please know that you may not have access to all of the vendors who are in your price range only the ones their algorithm choses that day to be the lucky winners of placement depending on how much they spent to be in front so it may not always be about giving you the best deal buy making sure they get their moneys worth foir your listing.
It would be do couple so much more good to go straight to the business at their website, visit open houses at your favorite venues, talk to wedding planners, go to Bridal Shows, and join like Texas Weddings with actual people instead of call centers in other countries and who employ local workers who you can meet and talk too in person. https://texasweddings.com/
