Stool Pigeon this week features Nick Saverino

Nick Saverino, better known as Nicky Savs, was named 3rd funniest person in Austin in 2018. In 2021 he began entertaining van-fulls of tourists, while driving, as a public tour guide and never once got in a wreck, though he was falsely accused. In 2025, he diminished his audience even more by becoming a bartender who refuses to pour a martini. He now hosts the podcast, Slow Pitch, in which he encourages his friend Pat to become a baseball fan on a weekly basis; fundamentally focusing his audience to one.

📣Comedy so good that even torrential downpour doesn’t keep ppl away 📣

Coldtowne fans new and old got a real treat with .atx and Fool’s Luck 🍀improv! (and I heard there was even a PROM COM happening next door at the cabaret!!)

The 3 on 3 SHOWDOWNE did not disappoint, my friends

👀DID U KNOW improv comedy can look like
- grief support in the McClusky family
- making new friends who immediately get you, then drying each other off from the rain
- A reality show about dating in a hot air balloon
- A bad cop with a southern accent trying to solve a crime
- Timeshares???
- A married couple fighting with the mice from Ratatouille over a lost wedding ring
- Poor rich and dumb f***s
-a bakery that doesn’t understand branding

Teacher Spotlight: Sunny Huang

Sunny Huang is an actor and comedian based in Austin, TX. She started
improv over 10 years ago in Los Angeles because her company’s education
stipend miraculously covered classes at Upright Citizens Brigade (even
though her job was to babysit pallets in a warehouse). Prior to leaving palm
trees for BBQ, Sunny was on a UCB house team, and you can now see her
perform with the award-winning troupe, Y’all We Asian, and in various
shows around town. It was decided that Sunny is qualified to teach others
how to be funny, so she’d love to see you in one of her classes! Catch her on the Main Stage Saturdays at 7:30 in "The Players"
