We are seeking brave individuals who want to learn a legitimate artform (comedy) and take being funny somewhat seriously.

Our 8-week comedy programs will transform you from a normal civilian into an elevated being who is capable of establishing a base reality upon which a comedic premise or zany character can survive.

You will voluntarily take on the pain of thinking on your feet, trusting your fellow human, and pushing yourself to the limit of comedic exploration.

Sign up by October 10th. Most classes run 8 weeks, are approximately $300, and most include a class showcase where you can invite your friends to partake in the community ritual many call “comedy.”

Fallout Theater is located at 616 Lavaca St, and is downtown Austin’s home for independent improv, sketch, clown, and standup comedy shows. We are BYOBB (bring your own beverage & butt).

Any typos in the above images will be branded into our marketing guy with a hot iron.

Comedy classes start next week.

Fallout Theater teaches improv, standup, and sketch comedy.

Learning comedy is a serious endeavor: learn to think more quickly, listen better, get out of your comfort zone, sharpen your sense of humor, identify patterns faster… the list goes on.

Sign up on Fallout’s Crowdwork site (link in linktree).

Classes start next week (August 8th-13th). Classes are 6-8 weeks, and most include a class showcase to give you stage experience and a fun memory. Whether you want to take one class to improve your public speaking, or you dream of basking in the audience’s laughter, Fallout is the place to get started.

Stoned vs Drunk vs Sober returns this Saturday, May 30th, at 10:00 PM.

SvDvS is a stand up comedy competition featuring three teams of comics that try to answer the question, “What if comics got stoned, drunk, or sober, then gave it their best as they perform on the edge?”

Featuring comics from Comedy Central, HBO, and up-and-comers you need to know!

Laugh Button rated SvDvS as, “One of the 9 most unique comedy shows in the nation.”

SvDvS is the most popular standup comedy show in Austin for a reason! It’s a slam dunk date night. Bring your friends or family (if they’re cool), or come solo to meet the other hot and cool people who come every month.

Fallout is BYOB! Bring a 6-pack and your friends.
