Peggy's bio is as follows:
I am an artist, teacher, mother, grandmother. I studied art with well-know Grace Graupe-Pillard, Fritz Cleary, and world renowned artist and restorer, Geza de Vegh. I continue to study, practice and grow. I owned an art gallery; I have participated in one-person and group shows for more than 30 years; and teach art in my studio. I have work in public and private shows throughout the east and also in Texas. I am a member of East Coast Plein Air; Plein Air Austin, Plein Air Florida, Central Texas Pastel Society, Austin Pastel Society. My media include oil, water color, pen and ink, acrylic, and pastel. Subject matter ranges from landscape, seascape, still life to portraiture. I am experienced in teaching people from pre-school to adult. I have taught in public and private schools and galleries and teach private and small group classes at a reasonable rate. See my blog: peggyappleby-artist.blogspot.com.
