That’s a wrap on Octane at the Oasis.

What started as a simple idea — cars, coffee, and a sunrise over Lake Travis — became something we’ll never forget. Hundreds of cars rolling in every second Sunday. Thousands of dollars raised for local charities who needed it. Friendships built in a parking lot before most of the city was even awake.

That was never about us. That was all of you. Every car, every $10, every early alarm, every friend you brought along — you are Octane at the Oasis. And you always will be.

This is goodbye for now — but not goodbye for good.

We’re already looking for a new home, and when we find the right one, we’re bringing this back. So don’t go anywhere. Keep an eye on this page for updates on a future location and what comes next. The best way to make sure you don’t miss the comeback is to stay right here with us.

This Sunday is the last one. ❤️
It's true — after much discussion, the organizers have decided that THIS SUNDAY will be the final Octane at the Oasis. Due to management changes at the venue, we no longer have what we need (restrooms, coffee, tacos, etc.) to host the meet the way you deserve, and we feel it's time to move on.

This isn't goodbye forever. We'll be searching for a new home, and when we find it, you'll be the first to know.

But first — we've got one more Sunday morning together, and it's a good one:

Octane at the Oasis — TODAY. 8–11 AM. The Oasis on Lake Travis.
But before the engines, before the coffee, before the sunrise — happy Mother's Day to every mom out there. 💐
The ones who said yes to the first car. The ones who said no to the second one and were right. The ones who learned the difference between a wrench and a socket because they had to. The ones who packed snacks for car shows. The ones who pretended to care about the dyno numbers. The ones who taught us how to drive, how to take care of what we own, and how to show up for the people we love.
Every car in our parking lot today exists because some mom, somewhere, raised the person driving it.
So today — whether you're at the meet, at brunch, on the phone, or remembering one — we're thinking about you.

Whatever you're driving — bring it. The classic, the daily, the one you just finished, the one she keeps telling you to sell. All cars welcome, all morning long.
And bring the moms in your life. The ones who tolerated the garage time, the parts orders, the "just one more project." Bring them out for a sunrise, a coffee, and a few hundred cars that wouldn't exist without their patience.
Or, bring the kids and let Mom sleep in for 3 hours. ☕

Mother's Day morning, sunrise over Lake Travis, mid-60s and clear, coffee in hand, and a few hundred cars rolling in for a cause. Hard to script a better way to start the day.
Bring Mom. Bring the car she helped you fall in love with. Bring the one she said you didn't need but co-signed for anyway. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. We'll be done by 11 — plenty of time to get her to brunch before it heats up.

Every second Sunday, they hand over their lot, their sunrise, and one of the best lake views in Central Texas to a few hundred car people and ask for nothing in return. That's not a small thing. Most venues would never. The Oasis says "pull up."
So while you're out there Sunday — return the favor. ☕
The Oasis has coffee on, restrooms open, and some of the best lake views in town just steps from where your car is parked. Grab a cup, take in the view, and show some love to the team that lets us do this every month.
