OMG AND THEN LAST NIGHT I SAW VENUS & JUPITER KISS🪐💋 it was just an overly divine ahh day fr. Third year doing this Black Music Month run and I’m proud of myself for still scratching that creative itch without totally draining myself in the process.

I hope this made sense💗 the moral is have faith. If you want it that bad, trust that’s it always yours. Also I kept trying but it wouldn’t let me add captions, sorry to those who may need them 😣

Younger me kept popping out last night like “Noooo way😮” It’s really wild to produce moments that allow me to feel so apart in a city I grew up never feeling apart of. Often I’ll hear that these are healing spaces and that is with every intention. I think because moments like last night are born from my own need to reclaim and heal, it allows that for us all - and in some of the coolest fu*kin ways. Everyone keeps askin me what’s next, and I’m not fully sure☺️ I have come to find so much peace & excitement in that.

I came into the year feeling similarly, just like whaaaat is we doing fr. What do I want for myself. What do I have the capacity for. After recently finishing being a crossing guard at an intermediate school, but passion for working with/around little ones has definitely moved to the forefront. I want to create for myself again and get messy. I also wanna do nothing and just experience everything.

I will never not be a creator. How that looks is going to take so many shapes in my lifetime and has. The theme this year is grace, curiosity, and myself. As always I’m standing 10 toes in gratitude. I have nothing, but faith. And what a privilege it is to do whatever tf you want and try it all. Happy Summer 💌
