LM/Lina Marija Photography "Lina was an absolute joy to work with during our engagement photo shoot! In addition, her photo selections and retouches were amazing.

LM/Lina Marija Photography since 2006 serving Austin Texas & beyond offers a unique portrait experience for Families & Couples by capturing unforgettable moments with Emotion, Love & Authenticity. She knew exactly which angles to use to make sure that both our best moments and the beautiful scenery and lighting around us was captured. All of our friends and family constantly marvel at how adorable

our engagement pictures came out. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and will recommend her to all of our local area friends with upcoming weddings!"- Jessica R.

The Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture announces a major exhibition showcasing more than a century of art by Lithuanian immigrant artists with ties to Chicago. Three years in the making, the exhibition beLONGING: Lithuanian Artists in Chicago, 1900 to Now reveals the role and impact of these artists within Chicago’s rich cultural landscape and beyond. The first such expansive
survey, beLONGING, features nearly 30 artists representing three waves of immigration to Chicago and more than 100 works of art in various media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, print
media, and photography, as well as rare books, video interviews, interpretative materials, and ephemera. Curated by art historian Victoria Kasuba Matranga, a native Chicagoan of Lithuanian heritage, beLONGING opens to the general public on September 29, 2024, from 12:00 to 4 PM.
This exhibition is partly funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art and the Lithuanian Foundation, Inc. The exhibition is included in Art Design Chicago, a Terra-Foundation-initiated citywide collaboration that highlights the city’s artistic heritage and creative communities.
There will be a preview reception for donors, grantors, exhibited artists, and members of the media on Saturday,
September 28, 2024, at 2 PM at the Balzekas Museum’s West Lawn location at 6500 South Pulaski Road, Chicago. R.S.V.P. for the preview reception: 773.582.6500 or [email protected].
