Our current artist in residence at The Resonant Lung just made an exciting release as a collaborator in Gyre V. Please check out this and their other releases on Bandcamp, this project has a beautiful, heartfelt mission to educate and inspire individuals, young and old, about the ecological devastation we are wreaking on the planet. We have exciting news around The Resonant Lung! These two exceptional artists, Elm Outcault and Joel Dow of Lingua Lucem, are in the first half of their three week residency with the Lung. They have been lovingly cleaning, repairing, restoring, and giving the chamber a fresh coat of oil stain! Many pipes have delaminated joints, oxidized toes, and leaky valves. We are going through everything to restore the ranks of pipes to full function. We are so grateful for their generosity and are grateful to the City of Austin's Department of Economic Development, this residency is funded, in part, by our Cultural Arts Funding grant. After this epic reworking, we will resume more regular programming in the Lung. Looking forward to sharing more with you all again soon!
