Gonna see if we can get her to perform at our show in the spring of 2027...

Ninety-five-year-old Liz Hicklin may be the oldest ‘sit-down standup’ comedian in Australia. But that’s only part of her extraordinary life story

Had a fantastic meeting with Mariah and Johnny at the Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center to plan our upcoming show this October. And look at this incredible space—part performance room, part pickleball court!

We can’t wait to fill this room with live music and shared stories. Stay tuned for dates and details! 🎭✨

As part of our elderspark initiative, we attended Aging is Changing. Are We? — an insightful panel discussion presented by Family Eldercare.

The conversation about how aging services need to evolve, and about the importance of supporting caregivers, resonated deeply with our mission. We also appreciated connecting with leaders from Meals on Wheels Central Texas and AGE of Central Texas to explore creative ways to bring more live music and storytelling directly to older adults in our community. 🎨🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined Cinnamon Path Productions last night for the first reading of A Few Tiny Acres. Huge gratitude to our fantastic cast for their talent and dedication, and to our community for showing up with such great energy and support. We learned a lot and look forward to next steps with the development of this piece!

Super productive morning at K*T 90.5 discussing potential collaborations between their The Long View programming and our elderspark project. Both initiatives share a core mission: highlighting the depth, creativity, and lived experiences of older adults through storytelling and the arts. More updates coming this fall!

Had a terrific meeting with Marissa and Paulina at the Lamar Senior Activity Center to kick off our city-sponsored elderspark project. We’re bringing live music and storytelling directly to seniors, with our first session happening the second week of September. More to come!

✨We’re grateful to the City of Austin for awarding us a Nexus grant this summer! This support will allow us to expand our Elderspark project, bringing vital art, music, and conversation to local seniors this fall. It will all lead up to a special public showcase in early 2027. Lots more to come! 🚀🎨

We’ve been busy behind the scenes these past few months on a new project near to our hearts: elderspark. ✨ The mission is to bridge the gap between the arts and senior communities by bringing live music and storytelling directly to elder residences and assisted living centers. We’ve been having great conversations with local artists and senior centers to get this going, and we'll be sharing more details soon!
