Last night, 5th - 12th grade learners from Innovation Learning Lab eased on down the road to experience the magical world of The Wiz! 💚 🌪️

After the show, they participated in a talkback with members of the cast, crew, and orchestra, getting an inside look at the artistry and history behind the production. Before making their journey to Bass Concert Hall, these talented learners had already clicked their heels together and brought their own adaptation of The Wizard of Oz to life! We're honored to celebrate them and support the next chapter of their artistic journey through our Broadway Experiences for Youth program. 🌟 🌈

Honey honey, how BEY thrills me! 🍯 🎶

On Wednesday night, music and theatre students from Canyon High School, Covington Middle School, and Griffin School danced and jived, having the time of their lives at Mamma Mia! After the show, the Super Trouper lights found them at a post-show Q&A with members of the company, including Austin's very own Lena Owens! It was a joy to have these schools participate in our Broadway Experience for Youth Program! 🪩 🩵

Mamma Mia, here we go again! We're throwing it back to 2015! 🩵 🌴

On January 2nd, Mamma Mia cast members Danielle Burdick, Stephanie Brooks, and Juan Guillen shared their music with the Lamar Senior Activity Center. Head of Wardrobe, Rosella Human, led UT Design and Tech students on a behind the scenes tour, taking them through the darkness to the break of the day!

Gimme gimme gimme this show back on our stage! Next week can't come soon enough! 💃 ✨
