I added this filler portion for my client in between his upper shoulder tattoo and his inner bicep portraits on the inside of his arm.

We went with classic Japanese imagery: a Pagoda on the water overlooks a Shinto shrine in the shadow of Mount Fuji as the sun rises up over the mountain. Also added in the silhouettes of the flying birds and the lone crane sitting in the water.

Total time for this tattoo was just a hair over 5 hours.

First session completed all of the black and gray work. Following sessions will be adding bright, colorful flowers and feathers to the hair and face for this portrait.
