Organic Helicopter

Organic Helicopter Art and Science are the world’s catalysts of change. They are what shape human existence. Years later, in late 2016, Organic Helicopter had its rebirth.

We create living performances from scientific models; poems from protein synthesis, symphonies from cell death, and remixed choreography based on neural pathways. Organic Helicopter - like so many other great ideas - has its roots on a university campus. It was 2010 when we first recognized art and literature as useful analogies to explain scientific processes; and so we created Protein Poems - p

oems that are generated in the near exact way actual proteins are made. We are an ever expanding organization that fosters the exploration of science through art. We do not believe that art and science must be separate, we do not view them as strictly unrelated entities, rather we believe they should be one and the same. It is our goal to help our community rediscover the beauty of science through art.
