SoCo Women’s Chorus is an auditioned community treble chorus based in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to provide Central Texas singers with the experience of musical artistry and excellence through choral singing and group performance. Our chorus is dedicated to reflecting Austin’s diversity and providing community service through music. We welcome singers of all gender identities with voices in the treble range (soprano and alto).

🚀✨ Revisiting SPACE

Sometimes the only response to beauty is wonder.

Heaven Full of Stars draws its text from Sara Teasdale’s poem Stars; a reflection on standing beneath the night sky and marveling at its beauty. Looking up at countless “hearts of fire,” the speaker realizes she is simply honored to be a witness to so much majesty.

Today and everyday we honor the people who mother the world in countless ways. 🌷

The ones who taught us our first songs.
The ones who held harmony together when life felt uncertain.
The caretakers, guides, protectors, chosen family, mentors, grandmothers, aunties, fathers who mother, and every soul who nurtures with patience and love.

Music begins long before the stage; in lullabies, in encouragement, in steady hands, in voices that remind us we belong.

The music of SoCo's Season 14 has been a map of where we are headed this performance weekend: a universe in which the infinite begins to mirror our own becoming.

Act I moves through wonder and curiosity - lifting us outward with songs that feel both familiar and newly alive. Act II turns toward reflection and return - where memory and distance begin to settle.

This journey, shaped with a care by our director , carries us through space and back again.
