SoCo Women’s Chorus is an auditioned community treble chorus based in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to provide Central Texas singers with the experience of musical artistry and excellence through choral singing and group performance. Our chorus is dedicated to reflecting Austin’s diversity and providing community service through music. We welcome singers of all gender identities with voices in the treble range (soprano and alto).

Auditions rocked today! Thank you to everyone who came and we are delighted to announce that we are welcoming THIRTY ONE new singers into the chorus. Also a big thanks to our current chorus members who came out to chat and welcome all the newbies as well as the chorus leadership who made it all happen. What an amazing choir tribe we have. We’re ready to sing! 🩷

We had a blast at the Austin Arts Mixer last night. A HUGE thanks to KMFA Classical 89.5 and Austin LGBT Chamber for hosting each year - what a great event for our community. That’s a wrap on our summer Spark Community Performances by SoCo Women’s Chorus! ✨

We had a blast bringing these free community shows to Austin this summer. Huge thanks to Parsons House Austin, RBJ Senior Housing, Girl Guitar • music classes, Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas (Ascension Seton) for welcoming us. ❤️

And thank you to all of our singers who helped bring this pilot to life. We’re excited to see where the spark goes next!

Pssst! We have a secret project brewing this summer.

Meet SoCo Spark ✨ - a new pilot project exploring how a flexible, year-round service choir can bring music to people and places across Austin where it’s needed most.

Service through song has been part of SoCo since the very beginning. We believe singing has the power to strengthen communities, support well-being, and help people feel more connected to one another. We’re excited to see where this experiment leads, and we can’t wait to share more as it takes shape. 🎶
