Found the most adorable yarn shop called in this weekend! The owner and people working there and stitching there were so sweet! I’ll definitely be back next time I visit my sister there 🥹 I picked up some in three colors to make a by because I needed another project 👀 Wish I’d had more time but a car full was waiting—you know how that goes 😅

This is all I want to do! Making special dolls for special people. It’s the best. I made Adella and Lola (2 different Lola dolls!) a couple years ago and I had to make Jimmy. He’s a model anyway so it made sense :-)
Adella. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind we know this and isn’t it what life is all about?? Why be small and fade into the background when you can be noticed?? I’m so glad to call her a friend and be able to witness the incredible success she has built with her own two hands and magic brain. I aspire to be more like her. I admire her as a mother, as a wife, as a business woman that can show us all what it means to be proud and outspoken and still completely generous with her voice and perspective. Truly unique yet universally relatable. She comforted me after losing my mom because she knew exactly what I was going through and I’ll always be thankful to her for that. ❤️🥹
I told her Jimmy was on his way. Have you ever witnessed a more supportive partner?? Even revealing this doll to him—“Jimmy go put on your Fred Hampton hoodie and a gray beanie” “ok” like I can’t even. 😂 He trusts her and that’s why it works. I love them.

How do you do decreases? Here’s an example of invdec (invisible decrease) and sc2tog (single crochet 2 together). For amigurumi, the invdec practically disappears! Sc2tog is so quick though…
