I cannot say this enough...

Skating, in particular, is a very difficult sport. Not only is there athleticism, but there is artistry and it is a lot of work to refine your skills.

Please don't waste your time comparing yourself to someone else because you are not them, and they are not you. It will not get you further along, and if anything, you will feel more frustrated than ever.

Focus on yourself and what you are trying to accomplish. Period.
