*not an ordinary Sunday in a small suburban park conducting “Sunday” towards the verticals of trees. 🌳
Brava, Impact Arts, and thank you, Susan Kroman Morris, for capturing this moment of Harmony. 📷

Thank you SummerStock Austin and Impact Arts for inviting us to run sound for your final summer event of 2022! These performers are INCREDIBLE!
There’s still time to come see the show at 7:30pm at Pease Park in downtown Austin. Visit their fb page for more info!
WOW! Awesome job to the cast and production team of ’s “Alice’s Wonderland” at Impact Arts! 🪞❤️
That rabbit hole was rockin’ nonstop this afternoon, and Victor Villalobos & I had the best time. ⏱
Ginger Elise Morris always compiles an incredible slate of artists and offerings at Summer Stock Austin, and this season’s Impact Arts lineup is no exception. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
J. Quinton Johnson is a longtime friend and shooting star in his own right. You’ve caught him onscreen in multiple features and in Broadway’s Hamilton; now you can (and should!) check out the fruits of his writing brain with Alice’s Wonderland! 🪞
Only a few shows remain… visit impactarts.org for those 🎟.
It’s a sultry 96,000 degrees at Austin’s McCullough Theatre tonight as the incredible cast and production team of Impact Arts’ “In the Heights” take their opening bow. 🔥
Felicidades to one and all in Washington Heights!🗽 Now go heat up that stage.
Calling all creatives, budding artists, thespians, and anyone who enjoys musicals! Impact Arts Summer Stock Austin is back in a big way. Now in its 17th season, this program hopes to bring the Austin community more diverse programming and untold stories. Ginger Morris and Jordan Williams joined Trevor Scott with details about the fun summer ahead.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if all participating theatres met their Amplify goal this year? Hyde Park Theatre is aiming for a $25,000 goal, Summer Stock Austin has a goal of $7,000 through the nonprofit Impact Arts, and TILT Performance Group is hoping for 75 donors to donate $5. There’s a little less than 6 hours left!

WARM WELCOME | We’d like to welcome our new music arranger for the band, Airman First Class Ben Roberts from Austin, TX!
A1C Roberts joined us from BMT in December and we are all looking forward to playing his work.
Airman Roberts is a multitalented musician who has worked as a theatre composer, orchestrator, and copyist for musicians across the country and on Broadway. He recently graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in music education. In college, he music directed the famed Waa-Mu Show, a 90 year old tradition where over 150 students collaborate each year to write an original musical. Ben is a seasoned thespian himself and worked for Summer Stock Austin for 10 years as a performer, orchestrator, and associate producer. He enjoys creating theatre for young children, and wrote original music for the Winnie the Pooh musical.🍯
🌀FUN FACT: During 2020 quarantine, he built a gigantic 4 ft. x 6 ft. Risk board that is quite impressive!
