Another round of Talavera! These are for arms, legs or back, of a medium size (6-8 inch) minimum.
Do you have a combination of animals you prefer for an alebrije? Is there a specific Talavera subject you would like? Let me know! The last Friday the 13th I'll be a part of in Austin!
I'm bringing back a few of the past flash because, why not? Also, it's another year we are trying to survive.
Prices range from 60 to 120, black and grey or color. I'll be at the shop from 1-9 pm and taking walk ins as they show up.
If you'd like to set a Talavera project instead those need their own day because of how long they take, so email me for those

We made it guys, 2025 was quite the year.
We faced so much grief, fear and uncertainty. It's the year I decided that it was time to leave the US for a while, (around June, I will make another post talking more about it)
But it was also a year full of travel, friendship, love and especially you, guys. I am so incredibly grateful for my clients, everyone who got tattooed by me. You guys kept me going, and I can't wait to do as many tattoos as I can in 2026.
Take care of each other, especially now.

Alebrijes are fantastical Mexican folk art sculptures of mythical creatures, originally created from papier-mâché by Pedro Linares in the 30s, blending parts of different animals with intense colors and patterns.
They are one of a kind, so I will be doing a series but will only tattoo each once! I can also make versions including your pets, and any combinations of animals.
This one is designed to be bigger and is perfect for a thigh, back, calf or lower arm. It can be in either shades of blue or full color! I'm going to be sharing more in this direction of painterly, watercolor Talavera style. 🦋

I present you the first batch of Talavera flash available on Fridays- starting this Friday 9th. I'll be at the shop open for walk ins from 2 pm until 8-9 pm.
Email me to set up your appointment if you rather have it on a different day, or to lock a specific time! The price range is 150-300 for higher more detailed pieces, arms and legs only.

Very different from my usual work, a more structural watercolor style. so I was definitely a bit nervous taking this on!
Found out the amazing Gabriel from designed this and recommended me to my client Sam, who patiently and kindly went through the lengthy process of getting this right. Now I have another project in this style and it's awesome that I'm continuing to grow, learn and try new things a decade into my career.
