Hey guys!
I'll be in Austin the months of November and December working at ✨📍408 E 43rd St Unit B ATX ✨
I will be prioritizing existing clients but will be open to new projects as long as we can finish them in the two months. A deposit is required, through Venmo, CashApp, PayPal or Zelle. You can DM me or Email me at [email protected] (preferable) to schedule! I'm working on my new booking site and will update you with the info soon.

After that I won't be coming back for a while, excited to be in Austin for a full two months which will allow us to do more work together!

Hey guys! As many of you know, I officially moved out of the United States and currently reside in Oaxaca Mexico. (If you're ever in the area or Mexico City, let me know!)
I'll be coming back to Austin at least twice a year, for about a month each time. I'll be there in December, I'll open my books around October. Next time will be around April.
I miss y'all terribly, but I couldn't stay in the US for now. That may change in the upcoming years as my husband becomes a dual citizen (and well, some things shift politically)
I'll be pausing the account for a little bit since I'm also taking a much needed break from tattooing and pursuing other forms of art, like painting and printmaking which I'll be sharing with y'all.
It feels strange, not actively working in something I've loved for so long, but in order for me to continue enjoying it I needed to step back for a little bit.

I've been thinking about what type of post I wanted to write, a way to close this chapter but nothing seems to do it justice.

I moved to the United States, Austin, eight years ago. Many of you know it was a long and arduous process but it was so worth it. I fell in love with this city, made friends and met so many awesome clients. But my mental health has been deteriorating, I got home sick: for a feeling of belonging, a place in which I didn't have to worry about people hating me or wanting me gone just for being an immigrant.

Mexico isn't perfect, I know, but I knew I needed to come back, reconnect with my culture and let my nervous system relax. This isn't goodbye forever! I will be coming back at least twice a year and guest spotting in the same shop that I transferred to the talented Michelle. (December will be here soon enough! I'll announce it a few months ahead)

Thank you, to my clients you don't know how much I appreciate you, and in endlessly grateful for the time I had, and all the tattoos I did. To my friends and my improv community. I'll miss you all. I'm excited for what the future brings.

Parts healed parts fresh, we haven't finished the sleeve but we were able to get it pretty advanced, and will resume in December.
Endlessly appreciative of my clients. You guys made the last eight years the best I could've asked for.

My take on Frida Kahlo's the wounded deer, 1946.
A painting in which Frida represents her sadness over not being able to control her own fate, which felt very fitting for this current crazy transitional, full of setbacks stage in my life.
Parts healed/parts fresh. Definitely want to tackle more art pieces !

Parts healed parts fresh, really happy with how this sleeve turned out.
I have officially closed my calendar and I'm trying to get the last people in to finish the projects. As you guys know we got caught in the middle of a horrible situation with the camper van and had to pivot, I'll update y'all when we can talk more about it, to not impede with the investigation. but it's pretty wild!

Long story short, but the van that we bought in June of last year and spent 10 months and 20k total on, was actually stolen. We did our due diligence: checked the VIN prior to buying, got the original title, a bill of sale, and even copies of IDs.

This is a devastating loss because it was going to be our home and means to drive down to Mexico where we are relocating. Now we are scrambling to figure out the next steps with so little time. We will officially be houseless in May 31st and are trying to prevent having to stay longer.

I thankfully did have it insured and I started the process while in the middle of what was already a very stressful move, gathering the evidence and documentation, but in the meantime we need to ensure we have some money to pivot.

I'm going to be working as much as I can in May while also dealing with selling, packing, and figuring out insurance.

If you have a little bit to spare, anything helps us right now. If you'd like a tattoo for the money, I got you. If you want to come get stuff from the house and just offer a donation that way while getting things, let me know. I'll put the link in my bio.

Hey guys. I'm sorry I've been so hard to reach and that I'm so scattered. This process has been way more stressful than I originally expected. Who knew disassembling an entire house and life in the middle of a recession under a fascist regime would be so exhausting? Add mental health, financial stress and well...
I'm a month and a half out from leaving, keeping some spots in May open for existing clients: unfinished projects and last minute touch ups, but I won't be taking in new projects. So please email me to set something up soon: I will officially close my calendar entirely on the 15th of this month, April.

And if you can't now, I will be coming back to Austin 1-2 times a year to continue working on projects! I will let you guys know/announce ahead of time, but so far I'm thinking December and May.
any other questions it's taking me longer to get through my emails but I'm working as much and as hard as I can. Thank you for your support ♥️ I'm a lucky lady.

A question I get asked often is: How does watercolor heal?
And the truth is, it depends. A lot goes into it: technique, ink used, aftercare/sunscreen habits, people's skin since not two are created equal.
Ideally it heals like most color, but it requires good bones, hence why we use the phrase "bold will hold"
Hopefully freshening up and making some structural changes to the florals will allow this tattoo to shine for many years to come! Always a pleasure ♥️
