Normalize decorating Pineapple(s) like Christmas trees! 🍍 🎄
There’s a stretch of road in northwest Austin where residents decorate the trees lining the highway. It’s beautiful and joy-inducing to drive past, although it brings up a lot of questions about environmental sustainability! This year, I decided to put my own twist on the tradition and decorate my namesake, which is portable and which I took home with me! tl;dr Happy Wednesday, get out there and do something you LOVE. 💛🍍
For those with longer attention spans: I love participating in grassroots group efforts, I love empowering others’ projects, I LOVE dress up and false eyelashes, and — like probably all humans — I love creating. Working on creative balloon projects isn’t so much my raison d’être as a means to doing so many things that are important to me and hang out with many fun, wonderful people.
