Traditional West African dance from Guinea, taught to live drumming — real drummers in the room, every week.
All levels welcome. Beginners, curious movers, seasoned dancers — just bring yourself.

Led by Mami Camara, an Austin-based Guinean artist rooted deep in her country’s drum and dance traditions, with live rhythms by Mohamed Sylla, also from Guinea.

Every time you show up, you help working West African artists share their culture with Austin.
