The Austin Air Guitar Finals are just under four weeks away.

We have awesome news! Austin has found its first judge for the show on May 20th. You know her from previous air guitar shows. She is one of the funniest comedians in Austin!

An update on the Austin show!

Our great emcee Kyle Uncle Hot Dog left Austin for greener pastures in Ohio. It almost made us not want to do a show in Austin this year. But, we were able to scrape a few dollars together and fly him down here for another awesome show!

We’ll be announcing other judges and special things happening at the show as the weeks go on.

An update on the US air guitar finals.

The official location was posted yesterday. It will be 7/15 in Denver Colorado!

So win in Austin to move on to the finals and with the $200 from us you can buy some very legal drugs in Denver.

We have a final judge and it’s he’s a local legend. KLBJ 93.7 own Matt Bearden! He hosted back in 2018 and stole the show. We can’t wait to have him back.

We are cuttings it close to the end, but we finally secured our bands for the evening and they freakin' rock!

First, we have wild pleasures a new band from Austin feat. members from Widower and Lady Killer.

Second, we have Lady Strange a fantastic Def Leopard cover band feat. members from Widower as well.

We now have our 3rd judge for the Austin Air Guitar Championships. If you've been to a movie in Austin you probably know him. He is the founder of the Alamo Drafthouse Austin, Tim League!

One thing you might now know about Tim if he started Air Guitar in Austin so many years ago. He saw Air Guitar Nation at SXSW back in 2006 and said I have to have this competition at the Drafthouse.

This is what got many of our competitors started as well over a decade ago. So happy to have him back judging in Austin!
