5th Street Studios is a recording studio located in downtown Austin, TX. Our work has ranged from local indie rock bands to international hip-hop artists, as well as voice-over and production for radio ads, to podcasts, and post production for film. With our vintage 80s series Neve console, 18 foot live-room ceilings, and 3 ISO booths, we love to track bands live to tape and make albums the old sc

hool way. Of course, we have a full blown Pro Tools HD system to speed things up a bit. The best of both vintage analog and modern digital; killer sounding music.

Here at 5th, we love to mix and can work with all genres. While it’s certainly fun to mix songs that were recorded here in our studios, there’s something special about polishing home recordings and taking them to the next level.

Although mixing can be seen as a primarily technical part of the process, it can and should be just as musical as playing an instrument! Vibe is everything, even in the details.
