Dear Darren
As I watch World Ballet Day live, seeing all the standards maintained, of my training and career, I am thinking about your new school and how the legacy of this beautiful art form continues from the quality your career into your teaching.

I wish you all the satisfying successes you have enjoyed as a student dancer with me and Eliot Feld, becoming a company member, then a Principal, then one of his muses for the most extreme choreography we had ever seen. It is still memorable.

Truly, you are one of the best examples of American dance training, classical ballet in particular.
And you earned your place in all our living history.

I wish that your students and parents will respect your work ethic and the quality of your teaching, and understand that real learning in any art form takes patience, care and time.
