𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. In Loco Parentis is SO CLOSE to reaching the goal on .

In the 1970s and 1980s, administrators at The Hotchkiss School and Indian Mountain School covered up the sexual abuse of dozens of children and teenagers by teachers, coaches, and headmasters. These two elite schools are just two miles apart in the affluent town of Lakeville, Connecticut.

This film gives voice to survivors and exposes the systems that protected the predators.

$36,5825 raised. That's 73 percent of the $50K goal. At least 80 percent must be reached by August 17 to keep the funds.

We were heartbroken to hear of Tishuan Scott’s passing this weekend. He died in a car accident Saturday in Houston. Tishuan was awarded the 2013 SXSW Breakthrough Performance for his work in Chris Eska’s wonderful The Retrieval. He also starred in Clay Liford’s Slash. We loved working with Tishuan and will miss him deeply.

“During a morning shoot with temps in the 20's and ice covering the field, in between setups he refused to wear additional jackets on top of the thin period clothing so as to remain in character. After finishing rehearsals/blocking with the other actors, the crew and cast huddled inside a tent with a portable heater and I went looking for Tishuan because it was his turn. I finally found him lying on his back in the grave he was digging for that scene, eyes closed and quietly going over his lines.” - Chris Eska

We've been working with The Jones Family Singers now for 8 years, through the ups and the downs. This powerful story from CNN's Ed Lavandera shows yet another cost of COVID, but also is a strong testament to the power of faith. https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/07/us/gospel-singing-family-texas-covid-recovery/index.html

Ernestine Ray was driving home from work on July 3 when her vision turned blurry. A few hours later, she was in a Houston hospital, where she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and failing kidneys. She started crying.
