King Electric Recording

King Electric Recording A custom-built, analog-equipped studio and home to producer & engineer Justin Douglas.

King Electric was literally built from the ground up to allow musicians to play together in one big room, surrounded by vintage instruments and esoteric electronics, with as much or little isolation and experimentation as the music calls for. We have 24 track analog and a full Pro Tools rig, a vintage Neve console, some great old Neumann mics, and the coffee is really, really good.

Tracking the old upright piano to wire today for . Wire recorders are a fascinating footnote in recording history, and nothing sounds quite like it.
