Two older pieces from the sketchbook, but wanted to show Uma Kelkar & Suhita some potters pink action. W&N brand. It’s a “fresher” pink than some other brands I feel and the granulation is phenomenal.

Excited to share that “Indian Blanket, Indian Paintbrush, & Texas Bluebonnets” won a Merit award at the Waterloo Watercolor Society’s Spring Member Show! Thank you juror 🙏🏽

It was a risky entry as it’s not a traditional, representational watercolor, but rather, my graphic design background merging with a desire to showcase the granulating & mixing-on-paper qualities of watercolor.
