A Working Group Austin is a two year Meisner studio for actors in Austin, Texas. Led by professional actor and professor Quetta Carpenter and acclaimed casting directors Toni Brock & Sally Allen, AWG hosts interviews once a year and accepts 18 new students. Our classes intensively study the Meisner Technique as an approach to building a scene, crafting a character, and most importantly, listening. We offer a supportive, challenging and disciplined environment in which students feel free to test their boundaries as performers and hone in on those inevitable bad habits. You must be over the age of eighteen to be a student of A Working Group. We offer private coaching and tape auditions for our students. Our students are some of the most dedicated, genuine, and hard working actors in the state of Texas.
