UNBECOMING: A Story Told in Form & Fashion
Dance. Live music. Runway. March 19-21, 2026.

🖤 Why do we submit to power? What do we sacrifice for belonging? 🖤

Red Nightfall Dance Theatre presents Unbecoming: a contemporary dance performance merging narrative movement with theatrical fashion, inspired by the runway productions of Alexander McQueen .

Three figures are drawn toward power, and each one trades something essential - discernment, identity, autonomy - for the promise of something they can’t resist. Their transformation unfolds live, through spoken word, dance, and fashion.

Performed in-the-round with audience seated on all sides. Live piano and cello over electronic and classical textures. Costumes designed as psychological architecture: garments that evolve alongside the body.
