The Tapestry “Last Woman Standing” award has a new recipient!

Juli has passed the award to Barbara Wilson, whose impact on Tapestry began long before this moment. When Juli first joined Tapestry nearly 20 years ago, Barbara helped her find the courage to take that first step. What started as encouragement grew into a friendship that has lasted nearly two decades. 💕

That’s what makes Tapestry so special. It’s more than the music we make together; it’s the friendships we build, the confidence we inspire in one another, and the love we share along the way. 🎶✨

Just announced... our winter concert date! 🎶

Join Tapestry on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 pm for Mother Tongue.

This season’s concert explores something deeply personal: how language is given to us, how we use it, how we lose it, and what remains when words run out.

Through music and shared reflections, Mother Tongue will consider the words, voices, memories, and connections that shape us. We’re really looking forward to sharing this program with you.

The Tapestry Spirit is meant to be passed along. 💜

At Tapestry, our bowling pin is passed from one member to another as a way of recognizing someone who embodies the Tapestry spirit that makes our chorus so special.

This time, Karen passed it to Juli. And her reason couldn’t be more fitting: Juli was the very first person to welcome Karen to Tapestry many years ago. Since then, Juli has continued to be someone who makes others feel seen, included, and at home.

Thank you, Juli, for being the kind of person who makes Tapestry feel like Tapestry. We’re so lucky to have you! 💜🎶

There will be NO Tapestry Singers rehearsal on Monday, September 7.

We’ll be back together and ready to sing on Monday, September 14 at 7:00 PM!

Want to join Loose Threads? Here’s your chance!

Loose Threads auditions are Monday, August 31!

Loose Threads is Tapestry Singers’ smaller, auditioned ensemble of 16–20 singers. The group performs music spanning a variety of styles, periods, and cultures and represents Tapestry Singers at community events, fundraisers, weddings, parties, and other special performances throughout the year.

Auditions will be held before and after rehearsal:

🎤 6:30–7:00 PM
🎤 9:00–9:30 PM
