IT’S TEXAS PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION — YOUR VOTE MATTERS‼️
Texans, now is the time to make your voice heard! The Texas party primary election (Republican & Democratic) is a critical step in choosing who will be on the ballot this November.
📆 KEY DATES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• Early Voting: Feb. 17 – Feb. 27, 2026
• Election Day: March 3, 2026
• Primary Runoff (if needed): May 26, 2026
🧑💼 👩🏾💼WHAT YOU’LL BE VOTING ON
In the primary, you’ll choose which candidates represent your political party in the Nov. general election, including races for Governor, U.S. Senate, Attorney General, Congress, state and local offices.
➡️ This is not just another election.
➡️ In Texas, some of the most impactful decisions are shaped right here in the primaries.
➡️ These races often determine who leads state government and which policies will be prioritized.
🗳️ WHO CAN VOTE?
• Must be a registered voter in Texas.
• You must register 30 days before Election Day — the deadline was Feb. 2, 2026 (you can check your status online).
• Bring a valid photo ID when voting in person (e.g., TX driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.).

📍 WHY THIS PRIMARY MATTERS
Your vote helps shape the choices available in the general election — long before November. Many races are decided in the primary, especially in districts where one party dominates. And turnout in primaries is historically low — so your voice has more impact when you show up!
