Aldo Ramon, hailing from the worlds first rodeo town of Pecos, Texas, is a multi-talented individual known for his dynamic career in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Pecos, he discovered his love for music at a young age and set out on a journey to pursue his passion. Eventually, he made his way to Austin, Texas, where he became a beloved figure in the music scene. Aldo's musical versatility allowed him to collaborate, record & tour with renowned acts such as the Kumbia Kings, Menudo, LaTasha Lee, Josh Heinrichs and his current endeavor with Chris Perez. What sets him apart is his unique evolution into a comedian, a transition that began during his tenure at Apple Computers, where he received training in technology & public speaking. This blend of musical prowess and his natural comedic talent has made Aldo Ramon a distinctive and cherished personality in the world of art & entertainment.
During the COVID pandemic, Aldo made a bold move, temporarily relocating to the enigmatic city of Las Vegas, Nevada, to complete a groundbreaking art project at the world renowned Area 15. His artistic ambitions led him to push boundaries in unconventional ways, and his work caught the eye of prominent organizations like Dolls Kill, a clothing brand, Insomniac’s EDC & Escape Music Festivals, & StarBase Hybrid Event Center who still use his innovative installations til today. Aldo became an integral part of these entities, contributing his technological talents to various LED Audio/Visual artistic installations that mesmerized audiences.
Amidst his artistic pursuits, the idea for the Caldo Festival was born. This festival was Aldo's way of paying homage to the city of Austin, Texas, which had honored him with a day named after him for his remarkable musical achievements. He felt a deep desire to give back to the Austin community that had played a crucial role in his artistic journey. Caldo Festival became a celebration of music, art, caldo and culture, bringing together diverse talents and fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for the vibrant arts scene in Austin. Aldo vision, born out of gratitude and creativity, continues to make a significant impact on both Austin and Las Vegas, leaving a lasting mark on the artistic landscape.
