Sailing Adrift Studios

Sailing Adrift Studios Something beautiful is on the horizon. I like to think of my work as my story. I love that I can make things that are uniquely my own. My work is my story.

Each piece of art that I make is a feeling, a thought, or a small moment in my life that is screaming to get out. And in a time where you can have anything you desire can be delivered to your doorstep with the click of a button, I love that I am able to create things that require time to make. To be a maker in a world run by machines is incredibly gratifying. My work is me.

When I’m carving out bowls, it’s pretty rare that I come up with a plan ahead of time. For me the carving is more meditative than anything else. And I’m seriously cracking up right now…. what I originally thought were flowers have somehow turned into little people, and now I can’t unsee it🤣
