Crown Fox Studios is a jewelry, fabrication and art collective studio in Austin, Texas owned by Sarah Elizabeth King. She has a BFA in metal art and sculpture from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Sarah spent 7 years as a custom jeweler at Midas Manufacturing in Austin. As a foreman at Troublemaker Studios in Austin she ran prop fabrication crews for 4 feature motion pictures. At PBE Exhibits in Austin she has created several museum pieces and worked on many exhibits that are on display at the Garden of the Gods visitor center, the Houston Paleo Museum and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. As well as jewelry, metal works, fabrication and sculpture, CrownFox Studios will feature collaborations with other artists.

This fluorite, makes me think of stormy weather.
Some times these cube shaped minerals can be a real challenge as you can see by the shape of the mount on the back side. But I feel it’s a great success when you only see a minimal amount of the prongs of the mount from the front side.
Mount fabricated from copper coated steel wire silver soldered and coated in white rubber.
