Students have spent the semester working with student directors from 🤘🏻🐂UT as Navarro teamed up with UT in their Directing the Young Performer program.

To say last night performance was fun, is a complete understatement! It may not always end up to be what we expect (there is some Improv!) -- But it's obvious our students had the most fun humanly possible performing onstage.

Between the tiny elementary kids (from our summer camp) as audience volunteers, the balloon drop, candy being tossed in the audience and MORE.... It was a blast.

TONIGHT and TOMORROW at 7 p.m. are your LAST chance to see this phenomenal play. It is the culmination of months of work and an entire village of support. We've gotten so much help from Zach Scott Theater, a Grant from GAHSMTA (Greater Austin High School Musical Theater Awards), NACA(our neighborhood association), parents volunteering to help with the box office -- and it shows.

To all who helped, Wallner and I (Cobb) could never begin to express our gratitude. It has meant so much growth for our department and it is truly helped us get closer to evening out the playing field for our children. 💓

🎭 WEATHER UPDATE: Due to bad weather, we will be canceling the show this evening. We plan on rescheduling the show for a later date. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Our shows will go on as planned tomorrow and the rest of the days next week! Be safe this evening.

Viking Theater is almost ready for The Yellow Boat to set sail!! Public performances are next Monday & Tuesday at 6:00pm. Come see this year's UIL One Act Play before we compete on March 15th! Tickets are only $1
