We seek to provide a space that enables artists and craftspeople to create that which can only be made by hand. We recognize that nothing functions without the skilled glassmakers who can te

ach the classes, assist each other in making beautiful glassware and care for the equipment. For these professionals, a studio is their livelihood and they are the livelihood of the studio. That said, we recognize that we all started somewhere (usually with a high percentage of broken pieces and the wonkiest of “successes”) so we welcome and encourage enthusiasts of all skill levels or lack thereof. We will offer classes, studio rental, private lessons, workshops, private events, retail, studio tours and more. If you’re not sure where to start, just come by to check the place out, pet the shop dogs, and watch us play with molten glass. We cannot promise you won't get hooked!

Did you know you can always just come out and watch us work?! We recommend closed-toe shoes in our shop and have safety glasses for anyone not already wearing prescription glasses. Each week we post our schedule of what’s happening on our stories and in our highlights. Plus, there’s almost always a shop dog or two looking for pets or someone to throw a ball. Come see what it’s all about! (If you’re coming by before noon, the building will be locked but we can let you in from the loading dock with the ramp on the Metric side.)

🚨 Adding a new project to the lineup! 🌺 A few weeks ago some students inquired about making a flower without a stem to sit as a desk ornament—maybe hold a ring or two—and we liked it so much that we added it to the rotation! Now on Taste of Glassblowing evenings or in Private Group Workshops where Flowers are one of the projects, you’ll have the option to skip the stem and make it this way. Check out all of our TOG and Group Workshop items and let us know which is your favorite or sign up online!

Exciting PSA 🎉 We are starting to offer larger group workshops! We have the facility but our small but mighty team is still…small. So shoot us an email at [email protected] if you’re interested in a larger 25-36 person event. If you have some dates/times in mind, let us know. The more flexible you are, the more likely that we can wrangle an extra instructor or two to make it happen!

Private Lessons and Private Group (Team Building) Workshops are not nearly as booked up despite being just as fun, if not more fun! 😉

Thank you all for the continued support! I promise we are always trying to make as many people happy as possible. But also know that we are a small business and our small team has just spent the last two months working our butts off to move our 6200lb furnace and her friends. We’ve rebuilt everything, recalibrated everything, repainted everything and we are still feeling out this new reality. What’s most important to us is that we live up to or exceed the standards we’ve become known for as we launch new class formats and return to the tried and true ones. Please be patient as we have every intention of being around for years to come and hosting all of you asap! Meet our Shop Dog Team! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

They’re the life of the party over here and keep us all sane during the busy holiday season. Some of them work full-time and some part-time but none actually live at the shop. Occasionally, we have a foster dog in the mix! Only a couple have been DNA tested but we’re pretty sure about these breeds. 🤔 What do you think?
