ODTC was founded in 2012 by six individuals looking to start an Austin-based theatre company that was truly actor-centered. Since then, ODTC has completed three full seasons consisting of nine plays and nearly 50 performances. We are committed to spotlighting and developing exceptional performances and that goal drives us as we move forward and also makes us unique. Many theatre companies place sp

ecial attention on impressive sets, costumes, props, and special effects, but our goal is much simpler. We encourage authenticity and genuine emotion that would be just as powerful on a blank stage as it would with extravagant sets. We hope to continue to entertain our audiences as well as branch out into the Austin community in the years to come.
