The North American Pairs District qualifying game is this weekend at the BCA. This is a chance for players from all over the District to win prestige and also money towards a trip to St. Louis this spring for the NABC tournament there. It is one of the biggest events for players during the year and a special honor for the BCA to host it.

♠ Beginning Bridge Saturdays 10:00 am - noon, Jan 10 - Mar 7
This class is for people who are new to bridge: plus people who played years ago and would like to update their skills. We will cover hand valuation, opening at the 1-level, overcalls, takeout doubles and preemptive bidding. The goal for the class is to have fun while learning this incredible game.
Eight classes plus play party. $180 including text.

♠ Play of the Hand Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30 am, Jan 7 - Feb 25
This class will cover developing a cohesive PLAN with goals, counting winners & losers and options to developing needed tricks (promotion, length, finesse, ruffing & discarding). Will also review bidding strategies to develop visualization of how hands fit together.
This class is appropriate for beginner/novice players.
Eight classes + play party. $160 + book fee ($20).
