All makers and small businesses are welcome to join us on Saturday, October 17th at The Far Out Lounge 📍

Market hours are 7PM-11PM. Set up time for vendors is 6PM.

We’re accepting vendors who sell:
☁️ Handmade art
☁️ Authentic trinkets & oddities
☁️ Vintage clothes
☁️ Jewelry, stickers, stationery
☁️ Floral/Plant Sellers
☁️ and we’re open to more!

🚫 The only vending categories we cannot accept for this event are food/drink sellers and flash tattoos 🚫

You’re gourdually 🎃 invited to our FREE Halloween party featuring 16 live music sets (lineup TBA), the Halloweird Art & Vendor Market, and an Ofrenda celebrating the lives of creative leaders like Dolly Parton, Yayoi Kusama, and Tim Curry. ART CALL: we want your freaky, funky, and nontraditional art for Halloweird at Half Step ! 😈

Creativity isn’t bound by canvas, and we want to see the art you brought to life using mixed media and non traditional media. It can be spooky but doesn’t have to be. Open to 2D, 3D, and multidimensional art. 👽

Art will be displayed at Halloweird, a music and art event presented by The Ma’ama Jam in partnership with Renowned Artists Collective at Half Step. Art will be outdoors under tents and can be available for sale. Event details to follow. 🖤

🧵 Featured Designer: DASHE Dashe

DASHE is a custom special-occasion designer based out of Austin, Texas, and the co-founder of Bloodbath Studio bloodbath studio (a queer-centered film and fashion production house). They have operated in the avant-garde and costuming circles since 2016, but have since released annual couture made-to-order fashion collections as of 2019.

This runway showcased DASHE’s first official bridal couture season with a 6-piece lineup of expertly crafted bridal looks, showcasing their vast experience in dressmaking and fashion-forward attention to sourcing and design!

Renowned Artists are taking over Maggie Maes Austin for a night! ➡️ and for another three months after that ;)

✋🫟 Live body painting, a full art exhibit, and live music with Kaytee Klink (Kaytee Klink) all night — this is the opening of “Only Human,” a show built for the kind of art that usually gets turned away for nudity.

​🎨 6-10 PM: Alena Duckworth (Alena Marie) and Eddy Reyna (Eddy Reyna 🌹 | Texas Artist) will be painting live on the second stage
🎙️8-10 PM: Live music with Kaytee Klink (Kaytee Klink) on the front stage.

🌕 ALL NIGHT:
- custom themed-drinks 🍹
- audience art raffles (more on that soon) 🎫

​The exhibit itself stays up at Maggie Mae’s through December 12th, which will also have a closing reception show.

​(Come early if you want to actually see the art before it gets crowded!)

Honey+Fatale is dedicated to creating handmade couture garments for the soft and feminine, fueling a more thoughtful fashion culture centered around quality, longevity, and kindness. These designs are a testament to the belief that fashion should be more than just clothing — a statement of values and a commitment to the future.

As a designer, they gravitate towards romantic silhouettes and recycled textiles. Honey+Fatale is here to prove that fashion can be both luxurious and kind to our planet!
