Hear ye! Hear ye!
Due to the after-effects of Hurricane Ian and a 100 percent chance of rain and winds forecasted, King Richard's Faire is closed for Saturday 10/1 only.
If you bought tickets online, they are good for admission any day the Faire is open.

Now that I have awakened (mostly) from my three day nap-of-recovery, I need to reflect on the Scarborough Renaissance Festival season. And the over all conclusion I have come up with is: it was ridiculous. In the best way.
Between sharing the stage and bonding backstage with Nature Of Mercy, the pandemic precautions, the peach bellinis, a Bohemian Rhapsody sing along, connecting twitch screen names with faces, my car saga, assisting Louie of The London Broil Show during the pubsing, friends visiting (and surprise visiting) from festivals out of state, the gift of a jug of fireball bigger than my head, meeting some amazing performers live and in person (Pinwheel Sideshow, The Accidental Acrobats, Shakespeare Approves - Your Friendly, Neighbourhood Shakespeare), working with a fabulous entertainment director and festival staff, rapping on stage with Bumble and The Harmless Danger Juggling Show, and Brian's penchant for keeping me on my toes and/or bewildered at the AGA.... and that's not even half of what happened this season.
In the final weekend alone, I laughed, cried and rapped (more than once) while on stage. I wouldn't be here (or have done those things) if it weren't for you, and I thank you.
