“Dance expresses joy better than anything else”-

This is a commission, my first! Taking a moment to appreciate this opportunity. Especially, in a time like this, where I have no way of helping, other than to stay home. So, I was exhilarated, when my friend asked me to make something special for her friend’s daughter. I guess Ella (the dancer) has been struggling. She gave me a photo for reference, and I got to work!

I had so much fun making this painting, and I can’t wait to make more. I hope it brings Ella joy. We all need more joy in our lives.
