Please Join Us Tonight, As we support Author and long time Ballet Afrique Parent . Karen’s book, The Swans of Harlem celebrates the grand tradition of Black ballerinas who precede and surround our young dancers, focusing on five lifelong friends who helped build the legendary Dance Theatre of Harlem. There will also be conversations with local author and stellar human Kelis Rowe (Finding Jupiter) at 7pm.

Ballet Afrique dancers, alumni and supporters we would love to see you in the audience! A portion of the evening’s book sales will be donated to Ballet Afrique.

We are so grateful for the tremendous support for The Nutcracker this year.

We are also grateful for the beautiful weather last weekend.

The studio will be weekend so that our staff and BADA families can use this day to prepare for the upcoming weather forecast.

We would like to encourage everyone to check on their elderly neighbors and please keep pets inside.

Check on single parents and families without cars, they may need help getting to a store.

We also would like to encourage you to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables that can be eaten in a power outage.
