Honoring Cile Steward • A Brush With Humanity: Portrait 1/100 🎨

With a full heart, I created this portrait for my dear friend, , in memory of her granddaughter, Cile Steward—a bright, joyful soul lost too soon in the Texas floods .

I’m starting 2026 with something new and a little adventurous — a yearlong (or probably two!) project I’m calling A Brush With Humanity: 100 Faces 🎨

I’ll be painting 100 heads throughout the year… exploring faces, expressions, and the small, beautiful things that make us human. No rules, just curiosity, color, and heart.
