We talk a lot about the hustle. The grind. The never-giving up.

But nobody talks about what it actually costs you.

This long weekend I kept meaning to work. I didn’t. And somewhere on the water I remembered that the most important thing I can do for You Me She Fest — and for myself — is to stop long enough to hear what actually matters.

Thankful every day for the women on this team who chose this with me.

Because let’s be honest — this road isn’t easy. The self-doubt is loud. The fear is persistent. Some days staying true to your purpose feels like the bravest and most exhausting thing you’ve ever done.

But then I look at the women beside me. And I look at the women who ‘walk through our doors’ — faces open, guards down, finally in a space that was built for them.
And I think: this is exactly what we’re supposed to be doing.

To my team and my friends — thank you for not letting me ever forget that. 🌸

I just drove an hour to pick up soda. And it was absolutely worth it.🥤

Their marketing spend becomes our free drinks. Our attendees get to sample something delicious and local. Everybody wins.

Every big thing is built on a hundred small unglamorous days. This is one of them.
