Austin is growing fast, and with that growth, independent creative spaces are disappearing. North Central Austin deserves a home where musicians, artists, podcasters, and live culture can thrive. We are raising funds to build Highland’s independent music infrastructure and document the next generation of Austin artists. Our venue and studio hosts live bands, offer multi-camera recording, and showcases both local and touring talent.

As a self-funded studio, rising rents and equipment needs make it challenging to keep our doors open. Your contribution will help secure affordable studio space and live music for our community. Every 4th Wednesday at How Much Studios is a monthly songwriter showcase hosted by Mason Kinard featuring a rotating cast of local singer-songwriters playing original music in an intimate listening room setting.

This month’s showcase will feature Tex Smith, Matthew Payne, and Jose Pasco.
