Thank you so much to everyone who came to Kengo’s first origami exhibit yesterday!
Around 150 people stopped by during the 3-hour exhibit, and we were truly overwhelmed by all the kindness and support.💚
We were so happy to see so many people stop by, ask questions, and spend time looking at his work. Kengo was especially excited to meet people who share an interest in origami and creativity.
We were also so touched that teachers and friends from both his local school and Japanese school came, along with neighbors, his pediatrician, library staff members, and so many people who found the exhibit through my Facebook post! It truly meant so much to us.
We felt so lucky to meet so many wonderful people—including those who folded origami with us at the exhibit, came back more than once, invited friends to visit, or even asked about purchasing his work!
And to those who said they wanted to come but couldn’t make it this time, we hope to see you at the next exhibition.
