Teams must solve puzzles and clues and complete hilarious photo challenges in order to achieve their singular goal: to get back to the present. If they don’t, they become lost in time forever! Escape the Box has been enjoyed by thousands of participants from across the

globe, and is a part of the required curriculum for students at the Immersive Institute at UT Austin’s Audience Participation class. Escape the Box can be played in Austin, Denver, San Diego, Nashville, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Santa Fe, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, San Antonio, and Las Vegas. Ever wonder what it takes to pack all these boxes? Spoiler alert: it’s a mix of Tetris-level spatial skills, hyper organization, ninja-like reflexes, and just enough caffeine to keep the chaos from taking over. Behind the curtain, it’s a whirlwind of card stock and cipher wheels that our team stacks, folds, seals, and routes and strategizes like pros, while dodging rogue wormholes and laughing at our own messes. Time travelers unite! The Atlassian crew embarked on an epic adventure playing Escape the Box! They dodged wormholes, outsmarted bat monsters, ran for thier lives, almost became stuck in time, and raced against time to escape! With the exception of a few few squeals when the bats swooped 😱, every moment was a blast.
