Tomorrow we are waiting for you at the 30th annual Holiday Sing-Along and Stroll downtown! At 7:00 PM the countdown to the lighting of the Austin main tree will begin! The 45-foot Christmas tree will light up with 137,000 dazzling lights and bring the spirit of Christmas to the streets of the capital! Don’t miss this official event!

And before that, starting at 3:00 PM, you and your guests can explore the Capitol Grounds, which will be overflowing with the Christmas spirit! Santa Claus, a Christmas souvenir fair, goodies and treats, entertainment for children, musical performances on stage and carols from wonderful

We would like to introduce you to Olena, a person who makes the most delicious and correct French macaron that we have ever tried!
Elena is Ukrainian, from Kharkov.

In Kharkov, she and her husband had a wonderful shop - a dessert cafe with a wide range of pastries and cakes. It was Olena’s love and natural talent for making pastries and desserts that helped open this business.

Today, this business no longer exists, due to a bomb hitting the building

But the love for making macaron and developing this skill remained with Olena. She has been living and working in Austin for almost 2 years and enjoys creating these wonderful desserts for her clients and fans of her talent

She moved to Austin 2 years ago due to the war in Ukraine.

Another ArtKolo member is Olya Shevchenko, who has been creating magical dolls-helpers with her daughter Arieri for over two years: fairies, gnomes, mermaids, mermen and other fairy-tale characters.

According to Olya, these dolls are special, they are able to help in everyday affairs, in relationships with other people and the world around us, harmonizing the atmosphere of the house, bringing joy, inspiration and showing the way to miracles. Thus, they act as a talisman for their owner
Each character has a “passport” with instructions for use and purpose.

Arina, at 13 years old, creates mini-toys with meticulous accuracy conveying details. These magical babies become favorites not only of children, but also of adults.
Olga also has a beautiful voice and enjoys singing Ukrainian folk songs 😊🫶🏻
