Hi there! I'm Michelle.

We are an AAPI & deaf owned (technically hard-of-hearing) company! We make cement products with all things fun and cute.

🐾 Our Story

Creating artwork has always been a great passion of mine. I got started in the industry when Covid hit, and going out to buy more planters for my new plants was not an option. I took this as an opportunity to find ways to make amazing planters at home. My inspirati

on behind this shop is my Siberian, Jinx. She is devil packaged into a big, cute, and furry fluffball. Jinx is always getting herself into trouble and does it with a smile. She is the playful side of the word "jinx." After breaking so many of our pots and planters, we had to look for a sturdier medium that would survive our household. Cement was the way to go!

Each item is handmade with high standards, but due to the nature of the material, air bubbles and natural blemishes may occur. Each item is unique and not all will be exactly the same. Like every cat, this gives personality to every item!

Happy 4 year anniversary to Just Jinx’d! 🎉
Wowee… four whole years. We can’t believe it either.

2025 was an interesting one. We made the intentional choice to step back socially and focus on taking care of ourselves, both personally and professionally. Social media burnout is real, and it started stealing the joy from Just Jinx’d and life in general. I felt drained, tired, and running on empty.

The bright side? Robert and I both got “promoted” at our full-time jobs and stepped into bigger roles. Growth looks different every season. We’re still here, just a little quieter, pouring love into our website, Etsy, and doing lots of wedding planning. June, we’re ready for you. 💍✨

🌸 Happy AAPI Heritage Month! 🌸
This year’s theme is “A Legacy of Leadership and Resilience” — honoring the contributions and enduring spirit of the AANHPI community. It’s about celebrating those who paved the way, so future generations (like us!) could thrive and adapt to change.

A personal reflection 💭:
Growing up, I spent most of my time outside of school at the Vietnamese Buddhist temple—learning the language, practicing martial arts, and volunteering. It was my second home until college. Looking back, it shaped me in so many ways—especially in patience and (surprisingly!) customer service. The hardest and most beautiful lesson I'm still learning? That inner peace is happiness.

This year, I’m refocusing on those teachings. A recent trip to Japan helped ground me again—visiting temples and shrines across Kyoto reminded me to slow down, cherish family time, and reevaluate what truly matters. Inner peace over the grind.

As I create and grow Just Jinx’d, I want to bring more joy, calm, and intentionality into my work—and spread those good vibes to all of you. 🧘🏻‍♀️🌱
